With a heavy heart I am writing this, we are now at a point that people are having their cats put to sleep as they can't find homes for them, this is a fact not made up as we are just dealing with this. I just have to say that the more people let their cats breed however much we bang on about neutering this is going to happen as there are just not the homes especially for older cats, they don't stand a chance.<\/p>
We are facing a crisis in the cat population in Peterborough and dare say every where and still the breeding goes on, daily calls saying my cat has had kittens and I can't find homes.<\/p>
Cats are being left because people are going back home, we urge people please don't get a cat if you are not 100% sure you are staying as most of these calls people are going tomorrow and that gives us no time to find a space, sleepless nights follow wondering what will happen to the cat.<\/p>
